The [lmao] Alliance is chiefly PVE oriented with many members who like to do Alliance Battles as well some other PVP ie..HA as member interest warrants. We realize that people have real lives and that that comes first.
This document will detail a guideline that all Members of the Alliance are expected to follow when interacting with Alliance Members. The key idea is for everyone to have fun, but without some rules in place we would be unable to maintain a fun atmosphere for all.

Alliance Forum
We ask that you show the same respect in forum as in Alliance chat and game play.
All posts seen as unsuitable will be deleted.
No swearing on forum will be permitted.
No abuse aimed at other memebrs.
Please remeber we have younger memebers using our forums.
As it says...ALL rules applied to Alliance apply to Forum also.!!
Alliance Chat
Your Alliance leader is to be respected and warnings from the Leader are final!
We encourage the use of Alliance chat by all Members of the Alliance. . Because we do not require the use of TeamSpeak or Ventrillo our primary means of inter-Guild in-game communication is Alliance chat.
We do not tolerate spamming, racism, discrimination based on sex or politics or religion, flaming other Alliance Members, or foul language in Alliance chat. The purpose of the chat filter is to minimize the impact of people breaking these rules, not an indication that it is ok to use these words in-game.
Also out of respect for others we only allow English in Alliance chat.
We also have a water shed rule..which is that we don't allow any adult chat or swearing before 10.30pm Gmt (uk) time...This is because we have many younger members and we like show respect for there age!
And even after that time we ask that you dont abuse this rule and rember that not everyone likes to see some type of chat!!
Ventrilo
The [lmao] Guild maintains a vent server for the use of the Members of the Alliance. All the rules for Alliance chat apply to voice communications when there are people from more than one Alliance on the server.
With the understanding that things slip out in the heat of the moment there is some leeway on rules on swearing but should not be abused.
Additionally, please be mindful of the noise you are making whether it be from problems with your connection, eating, loud breathing, loud music or other environmental noise.
Other Alliance members should not have to put up with such distractions, so either correct the problem, turn off your microphone, or get off.
We do have an Adult content channel for those of you that wish to use it. This channel is there for those of you that find it hard to keep your swearing under control and for those times of night when the chat may turn to topic of an adult nature, as we understand that its good to beable to let off steam and express your self as you normaly would.
SO THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ANYONE TO BE USING FOUL CHAT OR ADULT CONTENT ON ANY OTHER CHANNEL WHERE OTHER USERS DO NOT WANT TO BE SUBJECT TO UNSUITABLE CHAT!
Begging/Trade/Exploits
Exploitation of Guild Members or in-game players is not permitted and will result in disciplinary action as described in our Misconduct section below.
Begging for gold or items from fellow Alliance Members in any way is strongly discouraged.
Repeated violations may be grounds for reporting to that Member’s Guild Leader/Officers.
Giving Alliance Members a chance to buy an item at a discount before you dispose of it by other means is allowed.
Violation of the Guild Wars Rules of Conduct/User Agreement will be reported to Guild Wars Support as well as being subject to our Alliance procedures listed under our Misconduct section. Screen shots or multiple independent reports are necessary for action to be taken.
Misconduct
We do not, at this time, choose to monitor all potential in game activity, like in-game character names of Members for example. Please use the game related features to address any problems that are not addressed by our rules. It is, however, requested that existing members and recruiting officers keep in mind the sensitivities of our Alliance when considering in-game actions, and recruiting new members.
Any Guild that is the source of enough dissention among other Alliance Guilds may be subject to being removed from the Alliance.
If no Leader or officers are present at the time of misconduct and the member does not listen to warnings and continus to misbehave then the whole guild will be removed in order to get the problem out of Alliance chat.
This guild will be allowed back into Alliance once the problem has been delt with. This is to protect our Alliance and keep it a friendly calm place for all.
Guild Activity/Inactivity
All of the guilds in our Alliance are expected to have a certain level of membership activity. This is generally measured by Alliance chat use, Alliance member reports of being helped by other Alliance members, participation in Alliance events, and Alliance forum activity (primarily officers if you have your own website). If you have at least 25 members and over 50% of them have been active in the last 7 days, then your activity should be similar to the majority of the guilds in our alliance.
After three weeks of low or no activity in any of the above areas you will be considered an Inactive Guild.
Guild Leaders, please provide an email address to the Alliance Leader; this will be used to contact you if your guild becomes Inactive.
If , after being contacted, you still wish to stay in the Alliance, you will have two weeks to work on your guild's activity and regain active status or you will be dismissed from the Alliance. Becoming an Inactive guild twice in a four month period will result in being dismissed from the Alliance.
One week of no contact while in Inactive status will also result in dismissal from the Alliance. A two week period of no activity by a guild's leader or any of a guild's officers will also be subject to the same process as Guild inactivity.
Posts will be made in the Alliance Officer forum when any of these actions have to be taken.
